Die Nominierten der Swiss FinTech Awards
The best startups in Swiss financial technology will be honored again in March. These are the ten contenders.
The Swiss FinTech Awards 2020 are entering the hot phase. The jury, consisting of entrepreneurs, investors, scientists and experts from the Swiss fintech scene, reduced the number of applicants to ten start-ups.
These top ten are each made up of the top five of the two categories, Early Stage Start-up of the Year and Growth Stage Start-up of the Year. In the early stage category are fintech companies whose products are still in development. In the Growth Stage category are companies that are already operating on a growth path in the market. These are the nominees:
Top five early stages:
Aidonic - development aid and impact funding via blockchain.
Legartis - understand legal documents in seconds thanks to artificial intelligence.
Mt Pelerin - a financial service provider on the way to becoming a blockchain bank.
Trustless.AI - Development of the Seevik Pod, a mobile device that is said to offer unprecedented security.
Value on Chain - a platform for more efficient management of unlisted assets.
Top five growth stage:
Instimatch Global - a leading platform for money market products.
PriceHubble - better decisions in the real estate market thanks to intelligent data processing.
Securosys - hardware and software service provider with a focus on security of data and its transmission.
Sygnum - one of the first blockchain banks in Switzerland.
Yova - a platform that wants to make impact investing global mainstream.
For young entrepreneurs, the Accenture Boot Camp journey continues on January 28th and 29th. This is followed by a “speed dating event” on February 25, at which they will introduce themselves again to the jury and representatives of banks and insurance companies.
The jury will then reduce the field to four finalists. These will be presented at the FuW conference "Fintech 2019 - Data Driven Finance" on March 12 at the Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute (tickets here). The two winners will receive their award on the same evening at the Swiss FinTech Awards Night (tickets here).
At the same time, the third category is the Fintech Influencer of the Year - a person or organization that has had a particularly positive impact on the Swiss fintech landscape in the past year.
The awards were presented for the fourth time in 2019. Back then, the startups Apiax and Crypto Finance won the race. Former influencer of the year, former Federal Councilor Johann Schneider-Ammann, was elected.
