Germany in a century recession

The corona pandemic has led to an unprecedented decline in economic output in Germany. According to the Federal Statistical Office, gross domestic product fell by 10.1 percent in the second quarter - compared to the previous quarter. When asked whether the 130 billion euros from the Federal Government's economic stimulus package had already been agreed, Veronika Grimm's economy said in the ZDF Morgenmagazin: "We must not let up, take appropriate measures."
