Rome - The number of coronavirus infections in Italy has reached six digits since Monday. However, the total number has "only" increased by around four percent or 4,050 cases since Sunday to a total of 101,739 infections, according to data from the civil protection authority. The death toll rose by around 7.5 percent or 812 cases to 11,591.

Overall, the growth rates have declined, but there is still no sign of any easing of the situation in Italy.
