No new domestic infections in China
For the first time since the outbreak of the novel corona virus in early January, China has reported no new local infections nationwide. Even in the worst hit city of Wuhan, there were no new cases.
Rather, there is growing fear in China of a possible second wave of spread: the number of infected people who came back to the People's Republic from abroad rose. As the Beijing Health Commission announced on Thursday, 34 new "import cases" were registered, that is, diseases that were detected in people entering China. It was the highest increase in the number of sick people who had entered from abroad.
► Tyrol is cracking down on the Corona crisis - and is issuing quarantine regulations for each of the 279 Tyrolean municipalities.
"This means that the community can only be left if it is about covering basic services, providing for general services or getting to work - and then only to the nearest place," said Tyrolean country manager Günther Platter on Wednesday evening.
