A Russian Tupolev Tu-22M fighter jet apparently had to make an emergency landing at a civilian airport. Even if there is no confirmation of this, there are many indications that a technical defect forced the supersonic bomber to land immediately.

Poor weather conditions are reported as the official reason. This is a bit strange, since at the same time it was mentioned that civil aviation around Pulkovo Airport near Saint Petersburg was able to continue unhindered and was not affected by the incident.
