We want a just and crisis-proof world in which everyone can live independently. We have found a smart and powerful tool to make this world a reality.

We are trying out how the unconditional basic income works in practice. We find out how it needs to be designed to enable the necessary changes for a better future.
We inspire instead of teaching. In working together and in our external work: We not only discuss the unconditional basic income in theory, but also make it tangible in practice. This makes us pioneers and pioneers of a just society.

We boldly challenge the status quo by showing what could be possible. We accept every challenge. Risks do not deter us. We would rather make mistakes and learn from them than do nothing. We show ourselves and approach others. We consciously endure contradictions until we can resolve them.

We are curious about the world. We are open to current developments, new arguments and other perspectives. We listen before we ask the right questions. We want to know how the unconditional basic income really works.

We are effective because we are clear in our goals. Because we use knowledge to make good decisions. Because our strongest drive is our conviction. We act when it changes society for the better. This is how we encourage and inspire enthusiasm for the future.

We trust ourselves and others. We treat everyone as equals. We communicate respectfully, bindingly and transparently. We practice constructive criticism in order to grow together and with each other. This is how we live appreciation, which is also the basic value of the unconditional basic income.

What will happen to our society when people no longer have to fear their existence? Since 2014 we have been looking for practical answers to this question. We collect money via crowdfunding and pay it out as an unconditional basic income. This is how we make basic income tangible and explore how it works in practice. With practical experience and research findings, we advance the public and political debate about the unconditional basic income.

Thanks to our supporters, we have been able to raffle more than 1,000 basic incomes since 2014 - and thus set milestones in the debate about a basic income for everyone.

Do you like what we do? You can support our work. With a one-off donation or permanently as a crowd croissant - from just 1 euro per month.

We disclose where the money for our work comes from and what we use it for. Full transparency to read in our annual reports.
