People die on their way out of Kabul
Tehran Times shared a shocking video in an effort to help the world realize that the situation in Afghanistan is out of control.
The Taliban takes over Afghanistan and people are trying to leave the country before it’s too late. Well, it’s already too late for some of them.
Panicked people invaded the Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul and some of them climbed up the outside of an airbridge to get on board some of the planes. They were chasing a US military C-17 down the runway.
Several videos showed hundreds of people running alongside a US Air Force jet as it was taking off. They blocked the runway to get onboard.
US troops had to fire shots into the air at the airport on Monday to stop thousands of desperate Afghans crowded on the tarmac. These people were trying to leave the country right after the Taliban gained control over Afghanistan. Reuters was among the first to report on the chaos in the country.
The situation is horrible. Two people had tied themselves to the wheels of one of the aircrafts. Unfortunately, they fell to death.
The shocking video shows two Afghans dropping from the aircraft right after it took off.
This won’t stop the chaos in the country.
Civilian flights had to be suspended to prevent other incidents.
A total of five people died amid chaos at Kabul airport Monday as confirmed by eyewitnesses. We don’t know if the people were shot or killed in the stampede.
American troops had to fire in the air to deter desperate Afghans who tried to get on board on the flight that was set to evacuate US diplomats and embassy staff out of Kabul.
Afghans started arriving to the airport from late on Sunday. With luggage in their hands, terrified citizens grabbed a spot on one of the last commercial flights to leave before American forces took over.
