I’m paying the same health insurance premiums however, I cannot utilize my health insurance for anything other than sickness or for an emergency. The insurance company is not discounting my premiums during this time. I agree with you two. My son works in a grocery store and none of his co-workers have been sick. I work a second job managing for a pizza delivery company. None of the employees in our 35 Orlando, FL restaurants have reported being ill. None of my family, spread over five states, have been ill and the same is true for my friends and their families. I do not wear a mask, I deal with the public 16 hrs a week in the restaurant industry, forty hours a week I work alone in accounting at home. I go outside. I kayak with Alligators, swim in the river, run and swim in mud, crawl around on the ground, and my friends and I hang out. You two are 100 % correct. I have been worried that my immune system will not stay strong during these times. I’ve never had the flu and have only had the shot once because it was required to travel to Africa. I did not get the Cholera shot either and did’t get sick. This quarantine is more dangerous to my health than all the shady, dangerous, thrill sneaking activities I participate in. I am 53 years old.The reporter on the left side absolutely had an agenda!! I’m so dang sick of these people watching the news and becoming a specailist
The question posed by the person who asserted that “all the top virologists in the USA and the world” said we should shelter in place is demonstrably false if he were actually informed on the world. The doctors discussed Sweden, who disagree with that conventional wisdom. But the better examples are found in Hong Kong, Singapore but even more so in South Korea, Japan and especially Taiwan. These countries have vanishingly small death rates at 1/100th the USA rate. They do little social distancing other than masks and keeping the elderly and immune compromised isolated. The rate of infections with 5-million + tests is about 16%. So 50-million people probably have been infected, and 55k have died. That is .1% of infected, and could have been substantially lower like Japan or Taiwan if we had worn masks. These doctors are spot on, other than they could have strengthened their argument by citing the East Asian data. Our response as a country at this point is completely lacking a scientific foundation.
I live in Colorado around the Colorado springs area, they reported 35 people in the hospital due to coronavirus. Media needs to quit arguing with the doctors. I believe I had the coronavirus back in January, never had a flu like i felt in my 59 years of living, stop believing these news reporters, go out have fun.
