38 They will be my people, and I will be their God 39 I will give them singleness of heart and action, so that they will always fear me and that all will then go well for them and for their children after them. 40 I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good to them, and I will inspire them to fear me, so that they will never turn away from me.
My revised understanding based on the New Testament of this Old Testament version
We are the people, and we are Brothers and Sisters to each other as it is on Earth and in Heaven. We will give singleness of heart and action, so that we will always love one another and that all will then go well for us and for our children after them even up holding all through hardships. We will have an everlasting covenant with each other: Never stop loving unconditionally. Doing good, so that all will never turn away from the Way.
