This is 100% true story which happening here. Not only the Rajapaksha Family but a Lot of Politician and government officials are also corrupted People are so disappointed with this political structure, They are asking for a constitutional restructure. Lots of protests are going on all over the country, But all of them are so peaceful. But still, we rise as a nation!
I visited Sri Lanka in the end of March this year, just before the worst of the crisis started. There were commonly rolling blackouts that made it difficult to take out money to pay for basic services. I was blown away by the humility, hospitality and friendliness shown by the Sri Lankan people despite their hardships. It's such a beautiful country, and I hope they can manage to form a stable government that can take control and bring stability and prosperity! <3
