When we have the opportunity to hear the voice of God in the present time is it so different from Biblical times? Do we understand that the voice of God today can be heard when the message has a quality that is Objectively Timeless? Meaning what God’s word is true now and for all eternity.

In times Biblical times God's message was delivered by men and women thought of as Prophets/Prophetess. Today the Bible is an available resource for reading God’s words. During Biblical times were spoke words not easily received by the governing bodies, the religious establishments or the general populations. The message God gave to these men and women challenged the listener to hear and accept. In fact the message from God cause the chosen ones to risk alienation, persecution and even death. This also included the believers.

Why would I bring this up now in relation to hearing the voice of God in our times? When the Messiah went to the mountain top with Satan....what was that about? Again, Satan took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor.

'All this I will give you,' he said, 'if you will bow down and worship me.' Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.'”"

It still the case that Satan has the power to offer all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor to us ….Well Yea! You don't have to look too long or far to realize he still to run the world. All the goodies or pleasure of life are controlled by his power centers. The last century was a time of continuous wars through out the world. Hundred of million died so that Powers could establish their reality. We unknowingly worship an unseen master. Bowing down to Satan who requires that we give up our freedom, life, liberty and humanity at the cost of our sovereignty…. generation after generation.

Isaiah 19:19-20 New King James Version (NKJV)

 19 In that day there will be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to the Lord at its border. 20 And it will be for a sign and for a witness to the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt;

This is a very interesting verse….where is this pillar exactly and what are these sign and how are they a witness?

My experience is that today we can also receive His Words in addition to the Bible.

Many years ago I sat watching Dr. Gene Scott on TV and I was hook. He was answering these questions and would expose many more answers and set me on the path to search out the silent and not so silent the voice of God.

Are we so surrounded by deception that it is difficult or impossible to hear the soft still voice of God?

Where do we go...some cues.

1. We are made in the image and likeness of God. Well OK makes sense if He is our Biological Father no doubt we much be.

2.By quieting our outer and inner voices and meditate and we may wel hear that still soft voice.

3. Meditate or consider that as above so below. We are mirror image of the universe.

4. We have free will….Choose to love and to serve. The nature of God is to loved us and to serve.

5. Have a purpose in life, take responsibility, forgive and love yourself and others, finally live an examined life.

Moving along the straight and narrow path we receive insight when we hear the still soft voice of God. This is our road map to the Way. It has been the path followed by those who have said “Away from me Satan!” We can be catalyst to a Golden Era and finally the cry for freedom, life, liberty and Humanity for generations after generations.
