Hungary´s new President Katalin Novák

Katalin Éva Novák (born 6 September 1977) is a Hungarian politician serving as the current president of Hungary, having been elected in the 2022 presidential election.
Katalin Novák took over the presidential office on 10th May 2022 as first woman and in 44 years as the youngest person in the highest constitutional office of Hungary and the youngest president of the European Union.
Today she arrived to visit Praha. Unfortunately during the ceremony on Prague castle the weather did not show the best face - it was heavy raining.
President Katalin Novák is member of political party Fidesz, during 2020-21 she was minister for family. She served as member of the National Assembly from 2018 to 2022. Fidesz – Hungarian Civic Alliance is the strongest party in Hungary leaded by prime minister Viktor Orbán.

Hungarian president is fluent in French, English and German, and also speaks Spanish.
In fact her name is absolutely typically Czech - Novák and for ladies in Czech Nováková is the most frequent Czech name.
Novák/Nováková has the first place among Czech surnames with about 34 000 Nováks and about the same number of Novákovás. It is derived from nový = new.
Mrs.Novák has also become vice-president of the International Women's Democratic Union and is involved in analysing pro-family policy.
Katalin Novák is married and has three children. Her husband is economist István Veres, director of the Financial Market and Foreign Exchange Market Directorate at the Hungarian National Bank. She is a reformed Christian.
