Watch this space. The new Chief Engineer is getting up to speed

I have spent my first couple years making money online pitching opportunities. The interesting this is when I first starting doing this in 2005, it actually worked! But not anymore. Why? Because the market changed. Too many work from home opportunities emerged like a volcano explosion so the offer stop looking so appealing and started to become annoying with so many business pitches. In fact, the only time pitching works anymore is if there is value included.

In order to prospect new people into your business there is a need to develop rapport or responsiveness with an audience. This is the key to making money online. If you are not providing value to your readers or your list, then you are not going to make any money online or offline.

So, How do you do that?

The best way to develop rapport with an audience is by offering value,  give them something they can relate to, or offer a solution to a common problem they may have. All these type of solutions should be directly related to your niche. The same is true when you walk into a store to buy something. The employee of the store approaches you (the customer) in an attempt to build rapport. You are greeted and offered assistance. They are quick to answer any questions you have and make you feel comfortable without pressure getting to know your wants and needs and then getting to place where they can solve your problem. This is particularly true in car sales. Love car salesmen or hate them. The fact is the good ones don't try to sell. Let me repeat that, the successful car salesman who make over $50k per month do not try to sell cars.

What do they do?

They build rapport and solve your car problems based on the information you provide them with. Every car salesman who can solve a problem with a customer sells a car that moment. Whether the car is sold or not, that customer is a new prospect to their list of contacts. Are you starting to see the connection here to network marketing? Same approach..

This is the very shift that changed my business and approach to it. For a long time I thought I was suppose to build relationships with people before presenting my offer. This is the wrong thing to do. You do not want to enter the friend zone with any prospect. This is a business. The main goal here is to get them to respond to you. As long as their is a connection a sale can happen.

The easiest way for us network marketers to to this is by building an email list of people who opt-in to a landing page. The trick is driving the right traffic to these opt-in pages. Solo Ads and traffic brokers are the best way to do this fast for a small fee. There is nothing better than done for you traffic. I have my own hidden gems out there to share with my team for duplication purposes. The one thing to always remember is your buyers are in your list. They will respond if you present them with good information of value.
