Getting and staying focused on the Internet is very difficult because there is so much to do and so many things to distract you, however you need to teach yourself to stay focused on your business and on your advertising.
Give up television for 30 minutes a day. Give up Facebook for 20 minutes a day. Give up Twitter and just focus on your business.
Don't allow yourself to get sidetracked when you are surfing for credits or reading emails. It's not easy but once you learn to focus on YOU and YOUR business, geat things will happen for you.
For example, how many times have you been at a site that you went to for one reason and all of the sudden you see a banner, click on it and before you know it, you're on a completely different site doing something totally different.
This happens all the time online because the Internet is so vast and so full of traps to get you to take some action.
Have you noticed that you are now seeing ads at sites you visit for something you searched for days or weeks ago? This is the new targeting being done by advertisers and the search engines.
You need to learn to ignore everything around you and everyone online and keep doing the one thing you set out to do. If you're surfing on a traffic exchange, hit the site and then move on to the next. If the timer is 10 seconds, then spend exactly 10 seconds and no more.
Don't let the advertisers win and don't allow yourself to get off track. This is all about you and what you want to accomplish. This is not about what someone else is selling or what some advertiser wants you to do.
