Cold Traffic does not mean that the visitors are non-responsive or not interested in what you have to offer. It is called Cold Traffic because the visitors do not already have a relationship with you. They are strangers.
When someone first clicks on your ad and visits your site, they have no previous experience or knowledge of you. All traffic from solo ads or safelist mailers is Cold Traffic. So are ads on Facebook, Google, or Bing. These "strangers" are the key to growing your audience and your income ... if you take the right steps.
it is almost impossible in the "make money online" niche to get a stranger to pull out their credit card and buy something from you on your first interaction with you. If you are sending your Cold Traffic to pages which are asking people to buy right away, then you are wasting the traffic.
The key is to send your Cold Traffic to a page or offer which gives them something they want in exchange for their email address. The goal of the first stage is to turn a stranger into an interested subscriber for your email list.
All your Cold Traffic needs to be sent to pages which build your email list.
Once you have someone subscribed to your email list, you have the opportunity to start getting to know them and having them get to know you. Your emails and desire to help them will get some of them to know, like, and trust you. They now have a relationship with you.
When you ask your email list to go and check out an offer, those visitors are no longer Cold Traffic. They are Warm Traffic instead. Warm Traffic is much more likely to join the programs you recommend or buy products from you. They trust your recommendations.

If I tried to only rely on Cold Traffic ... I would not have been a full time online marketer for the last 20 years.
