Jimmy Mack released a two-track soul record on 7” 45RPM black vinyl. The album had “My World is On Fire” on the A-side and “Go On” on the B-side. The label on which the first pressing was released was Soul Galore. Palmer is credited with the promo pressing. The soul album (which some consider also part of the funk genre) was the highlight of Jimmy Mack’s career.
The album credits Valvano, Bassoline, and Coleman as the producers, and the three are also credited as the writers. Music Stack described “My World is On Fire/Go On” as “timeless Northern Soul” from Detroit.
