The 7”, 45RPM vinyl for Timeless Legend’s “I Was Born to Love You” had just two tracks. On the A-side was the first part (Part One) of “I was Born to Love You,” and the B-side consisted of Part Two. The soul/disco single was released on the Dawn-Lite label. Timeless Publishing was credited as the publisher.

The producer was Timeless Legend and Carl Fagain, while Jackie L. Hogg is credited as the writer and arranger. “I Was Born to Love You” would get some modern reissues in 2013, 2015, and 2019. The 2015 release had a new track on the B-side, “(Baby) Don’t Do This To Me.”
