Released on October 22, 1969, Led Zeppelin II was originally a vinyl, LP, album, and a misprint. The vinyl records have peaked at $3,750 in some auctions. These expensive editions are the first pressings, which are distinguished by the “Livin Lovin’ Wreck” on the label B2.
“Wreck” would later be replaced by “Maid.” The inside cover of B2 already had that replacement, in some editions. On B2, the phrase “She’s a Woman” would later turn into “She’s Just a Woman.” David Juniper was the artist behind the cover artwork, as well as the inside spread and sleeve art.
