Another big-seller on Discogs is Legacy of Brutality, by the punk rock American band known as The Misfits. The Misfits released Legacy in the fall of 1985. Glenn Danzig produced the album, and it was a mix of punk rock and rock ‘n roll. The Misfits’ album contained overdubbed mixes of old songs.
It did contain a few originals, including “Who Killed Marilyn?” and “American Nightmare.” Legacy is the only official album to include these two singles. Danzig wrote all the songs himself, and they were almost all recorded in January and February of 1978 during the Misfits’ Static Age recording sessions.
