Speedway is the seventeenth album Elvis ever made, and it was also the soundtrack to the Elvis Presley movie of the same name, which also was released in 1968. This album was produced by RCA Victor. The vinyl came in mono and stereo (LPM and LSP 3938). It’s a short album, only 28 minutes, 26 seconds in length.
An original Speedway vinyl sells for thousands now, though it is worth less if it’s one of the older versions, like the 1977 one. Speedway the movie starred The King as a racecar driver. Nancy Sinatra, the daughter of crooner Frank Sinatra, played his onscreen beau.
