Spin Magazine listed “Behind the Wheel” as one of the top “100 Greatest Singles.” “Behind the Wheel” by Depeche Mode was the band’s twentieth single in the UK, released in 1987 on the album Music for the Masses. The vinyl (both the 7” and 12” variations) had “Behind the Wheel” on the A-side and “Route 66” on the B-side.
