Forever Amber was a British six-member pop band that lacked the cash and resources to become the big hit that they probably should have been. Love Cycle was their only album, and they made 99 copies of their album in order to avoid being taxed. The album had singles like “Me Oh My” and “Silly Sunshine.”
Love Cycle was somewhat of a sleeper hit, and it didn’t get much attention at first due to its limited release. Now, it is somewhat of a staple of British psychedelic music. Forever Amber was once called the Country Cousins, but it changed its name to Forever Amber after psychedelia became popular in the sixties.
