The Gorilla Biscuits are a hardcore punk band that formed in New York City in 1986/1987. The punk band is currently signed to Revelation Records, the label on which it produced its eponymous album. Gorilla Biscuits’ blue opaque vinyl form is now an expensive collectible from the hardcore band.

Gorilla Biscuits was initially released as a seven-inch vinyl record in 1988. It got press underground, as did the band’s low-fi demo tapes, which they sold at dollar stores, but it wasn’t until Start Today, the band’s second album, that they became really popular. Anthony Civarelli and Arthur Smilios are the original founders.
