The vinyl record for Phafner’s Overdrive was released in 2003 in Italy. Though it is one of the newer vinyl records on this list, it has still sold for several thousand on auction sites. Overdrive, with four tracks (A1-A4) and no B-side, was released on Akarma. However, it was a reissue, as the British rock band first released Overdrive in 1971 on Dragon Records.

One of the reasons that Overdrive has become so pricey is because Phafner only released fifty copies of it in the first issuance. The band formed in 1969, and Overdrive was the only album it ever produced.
