Released on the Heatwave label and published by Sunny Brook Music, A Man of My Word/Linda was released in 7-inch, 45RPM vinyl format in 1969. Salt & Pepper, a funk/soul band, recorded the vinyl record at Sri Kruong Studios. Mobley and Nardi are credited as writers on “Man of My Word” (the A-side), while just Mobley is credited for the B-side’s “Linda.”
Only 250 copies of A Man of My Word/Linda were ever pressed, which is why this vinyl sells for thousands at auction today. Sri Kruong Studios is a recording studio in Bangkok, Thailand, and it has been around since 1935.
