Bernie Williams released this vinyl, seven-inch, 45RPM record in 1969 on Bell Records. Ever Again/Next to You had “Ever Again” on the A-side and “Next to You” on the B-side. This promotional single’s A-side would later get a reissue on Eric Records, and that vinyl (CAT #5013) would end up being pricey as well.

In 2013, Bell Records would reissue another vinyl of “Ever Again” (CAT #768, same as the original). William Lucas was the credited writer on Ever Again/Next to You. Bernie Williams was a popular funk/soul artist in the sixties, not to be confused with another soul artist (and former MLB player) of the same name who is in the music world today.
