Music Emporium’s eponymous vinyl release was produced in 1969, two years after the band was formed. Music Emporium was signed to Sentinel, and Music Emporium was actually the only album that it ever released. The band was fronted by Casey Cosby, a multi-instrumentalist, experienced musician, who formed the band at UCLA.

Music Emporium’s sound was based on Cosby’s talent with the keyboard, as well as his talent with vocal harmonies, which gave the pop/rock music its “psychedelic” vibe. Music Emporium has been described by one reviewer as “supreme rare” and “wild,” which is likely the reason it has sold for thousands at auction.
