The 7” 45RPM You’re the Best had two sides: “You’re the Best” on the A-side and “Love Will Make It Better” on the B-side. The funk/soul artist LaRom Baker was the brains behind the pricey vinyl, which sells for $6,000 at auction.

The record was first released as a 7” S-Sided vinyl by The Record Company in 1978. It would get a 7” re-release in 2019 in the UK on the Athens of the North label. In between that was a 2009 7” 45RPM vinyl that was released on Lotus Land, the label that also released “Danger Zone” by Midnight Express.
