Particularly for the first few copies, Negative Approach’s vinyl record, Negative Approach, is a big-seller at auction. The vinyl 7” 45 RPM record has five tracks on the A-side and five on the B-side. It was recorded at Touch & Go Studios on the Touch & Go label, and Nashville Record Productions (NR13918) handled the mastering.

The first few copies of Negative Approach were hand-colored. Some of the copies also have a handwritten message on the inside that was completed before the sleeve’s assembly. Just 1,000 copies were pressed. Negative Approach has also been called The Linda Blair EP.
