It’s interesting to think that in some parts of the world, you can buy your own private island for the same price as a mansion in California. Country artists Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, unlike many of their colleagues and peers, chose to do just that when they purchased their own little slice of heaven in the Bahamas and made it home.

Situated in Exumas, the couple named their private island L’ile d’Anges, meaning isle of angels. It took years of man-power and patience to construct the main house, which is made up of eight connected buildings, giving plenty of privacy to the two and any guests they may host. The interior is modern with white furnishings and natural wood tones, ensuring that they don’t take away from the beauty of their surroundings. The island was listed for sale in 2021 at $35 million.
