Clarkson purchased the home from Douglas Merrill, a fintech entrepreneur. The Toluca Lake mansion was originally built in 1936, and it went through a major revamp in 2016 that led to it having 5,000 square feet of living space. There is a main and guest house, and the white-shingled mansion sits on an acre of land behind towering trees and gates.
