Dr. McDreamy owned a house that is as dreamy as his namesake. Designed by the famous Frank Gehry, Patrick Dempsey’s former Malibu mansion is warm and artfully-decorated. Dempsey said that he and his wife wanted a “little land and space,” as well as a property with some “architectural significance.”

He said he was drawn to the mansion because of the “exterior’s simplicity” and the way the interior felt “expansive and calming.” Dempsey noted that “everywhere you looked” in the home, you could find “something visually pleasing.” Dempsey put the house on the market in 2015, and it sold for $15 million.
