For a while, after Slumdog Millionaire became a huge success, Freida Pinto didn’t have a fixed address, splitting her time between rentals in London, Mumbai, and Los Angeles. Now, Pinto lives in Los Angeles, and her 3,265-square-foot home was designed by Bobby Berk, one of the stars on the design show Queer Eye.

Berk transformed the dated, dark house into a bright, colorful L.A. bungalow. Berk said that he was “inspired” by some of the “elements” of the 1950s bungalow, as it had a lot of its original features, including leaded glass windows, chair rails, and decorative molding. He just updated the fifties-era home into something fresh and modern, with inspiration from Pinto’s “Indian heritage.”
