Actress Michelle Gomez, who is best known for starring in Doctor Who, lives in an 1865 country house in Litchfield County, Connecticut together with her husband, Pirates of the Caribbean star Jack Davenport.

The house is surrounded by lots of greenery, and in the winter it looks idyllic while covered in snow. The Scottish actress told Architectural Digest that it’s like she “stepped into a secret garden from a Charles Dickens novel.” Gomez added that the home is “far from perfect” but living there is incredibly “comfortable.”
