Kanye West formerly worked with a bodyguard named “Savage Steve,” who was an NYPD-officer-turned-Chippendales-dancer before he got a job in personal protection.

Savage Steve and West parted ways, in part because, according to the bodyguard, the rapper was a little hard to work for. Steve described West as pretty moody and always “ranting.” However, it doesn’t seem to have stopped other bodyguards from working for the rapper, as West is always spotted out and about with a heavy entourage.
