The Nintendo PlayStation Prototype, also known as the Super NES CD-ROM, was an unreleased video game that was supposed to be an add-on for the SNES. Nintendo and Sony collaborated on the hybrid console, but the fourth-gen add-on ended up getting canceled.

However, just because it was canceled doesn’t mean it’s worthless. The Nintendo PlayStation Prototype is still an important part of the gaming company’s history, and it sold for $360,000 at auction. The Prototype was the last of 200 that were made, as the other 199 were destroyed after the partnership between Nintendo and Sony went downhill.
