If you’re a mason jar collector, you might want to check your cabinets, as this rare Ball Mason could be worth thousands of dollars. The Upside-Down Ball Mason Jar is actually the result of an error in the molding of the jar. The logo and name were both stamped upside-down. Only a dozen of these jars exist in the world, which makes them pricey collectors’ items.

The jars were made from 1900 to 1910. The jars could rest on their lids without toppling. The Upside-Down Ball Mason isn’t the only valuable jar of its kind. The Willoughby Stopple, another defect, could also net thousands at auction.
