Legendary film director Francis Ford Coppola added to his real estate portfolio when he purchased Coral Caye, an island off the coast of Belize. He already owns the Turtle Inn Resort on the coast, and Coral Caye is a tiny island that’s just a twenty-minute boat ride away.

Coppola, who also owns several hotels and a winery, once used the Belizean island as a getaway for Coppola family vacations. Now, he has decided to make it more commercial, renting out the two-acre resort for $895 per night. Coral Caye has two rustic cottages, and it can house up to twelve people.
