Robbie Williams, a singer-songwriter who penned hits such as “Angels” and “Rock DJ,” paid $13 million for his own island getaway in the Caribbean. He took money (around $32 million) that he’d earned from an L.A. real estate transaction and went outward, into the ocean.

The artist and his wife visited Mustique in May of 2013 and they fell in love with the Grenadian island. Williams is far from the only celebrity who has vacationed there. Other famous vacationers include Prince William, Tommy Hilfiger, and Mick Jagger. Williams was swayed by the fact that he’d had a sold-out tour that year, and he purchased the Caribbean home as a present to himself for achieving that feat.
