Located off the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, Pender Harbour is a lovely little group of bays and coves that provide the perfect getaway for CEOs and celebrities alike. The population is a little under three thousand, and nearly half of the people living there are non-resident vacationers.

But, you don’t have to be an Amazon CEO or billionaire to own a piece of this island. The late, great comedian Robin Williams owns part of Pender Harbour, though the exact price tag has yet to be revealed. In an interview, he joked that owning the vacation home was like renting “a really nice apartment [above] a meth lab.”
