In 2007, comedian Eddie Murphy was coming off several smash-hit blockbusters, and he had a lot of money in his pocket. So, he did what other super-rich celebrities do, and he bought a private Bahamian island. Called Rooster Cay, the island provides the perfect vacation spot for the comedian and his family and friends.

He paid $15 million for the private, fifteen-acre piece of land, which is located off the Nassau coast. However, this island isn’t Murphy’s only piece of tropical paradise real estate. He also owns another Bahamian getaway called Pearl Island. Both islands are decked out with pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters.
