Shane and Darren Pettiona, as well as Peter Stockley, own Iririki Island. The Australian businesspeople opened a resort on Iririki, which is located in Mele Bay. The island was owned by the Ifira Islanders before it was colonized by the British. The Pettionas and Stockley bought the island in 2019.

The tropical island is the sight of beautiful villas, beaches, and snorkeling opportunities. Before it was privately owned, it was the sight of the first British hospital in New Hebrides. Pacific Islanders were taught the staples of modern medicine in 1910, including the management of tropical diseases, rheumatic fever, and meningitis.
