Dmitry Rybolovlev is a Russian billionaire. Though the headlines read that his daughter, Ekaterina, bought Skorpios, a Greek island, it was Dmitry’s money that bought it. He is an investor who owned Urakali, a potash producer, and he is also the president of AS Monaco, the President of Monaco’s football team.

Currently, Skorpios is under development. When Rybolovlev bought the island in 2013, it became a no-go zone for tourists, as it is undergoing heavy construction to turn it into a resort for the super-rich. There’s a tiny little rocky beach that visitors can go to, but, otherwise, stay away from Skorpios for now.
