Billionaire Richard Branson makes this list yet again with Moskito Island, another island that he purchased and turned into a resort. Moskito Island might not be as famous as Necker Island, but it is still a luxury private venue for the rich (and often the famous, too).

Branson describes Moskito as the Caribbean’s “newest jewel.” The 125-acre island is home to several estates, the most opulent of which is the Branson Estate. The Branson is situated on an outcrop with sea views, three villas, and elevated wooden walkways. It even has its own beach. Rates for the estates on Moskito range from $17,500 a night and up.
