URANIUM Mining, History and Science

URANIUM Mining, History, and Science

Never in humanity’s history has there been a commodity so conflicted as uranium. This fantastic element can be both a blessing of energy production, or a curse of nuclear annihilation, being extraordinarily effective in both cases.

As the race begins to a carbon-neutral planet and the reduction of fossil fuels, nuclear energy presents an attractive option to effectively lower harmful emissions while providing the power needed to keep our world moving forward.

And what about the dangers and risks presented by nuclear power, or the devastating effects of atomic weapons? Those questions, and more, are answered in this edition of Commodity Culture.

Produced, edited, and narrated by Jesse Day. Check out more commodity videos at the Commodity Culture channel on YouTube.
