What to Know Before You Join an MLM

Multi-Level Marketing (MLM), also know as Network Marketing, is promoted as a way to “own your own business… and become rich!” It is often directed toward people who desperately need extra income, and the lure for making Big Money Off Referrals is too much.

But… MLM Programs are NOT the Answer!

Here's why:

YOU MUST BE A SUPERSTAR RECRUITER

Unless you can recruit hundreds of New Members, you won’t make money! Approaching new people and convincing them to join your new MLM is the single most difficult thing 98% of the population face when joining an MLM.

• friends and family will avoid you like the plague
• you will waste your money on overpriced products (which you are required to buy) for at least 3-6 months before you quit
• hours and hours of wasted time will be spent attending meetings and hosting parties just to find new referrals (only those who pity you will actually join)

THE MLM BUSINESS MODEL REWARDS ONLY THE TOP 2%

The business model for MLM companies is designed to reward the Top 2% of Members. That is because the “attrition rate” in MLM is over 98%. That means for every 100 people who join, 98 will quit within six months.

The reality is that 98 members out of 100 are actually just “customers” since they will never recoup the cost of the products they are required to buy. The sales model rewards the few leaders who are able to keep finding new members, who will become “temporary” customers.

MLM PROGRAMS MAKE MILLIONS FOR THE “OWNERS”

As industry statistic show, only 2% of MLM Members actually make more than the amount of money they spend to get into the program. The owners know this, and therefore, they only truly reward 2% of the membership, which means the OWNERS keep the rest.

Don’t get lured in by all the hype! MLM is NOT the Answer!
