Couples who laugh together have better relationships

Posted by Bobby Brown on June 16, 2020 - 10:50am

Drinking coffee can help reduce your risk for diabetes and may help increase the lifespan in colon cancer patients. Studies have recently shown that coffee is beneficial for multiple aspects of your health. “Colon cancer patients who enjoy a few cups of coffee a day appear to survive their cancer better and they’re less likely to die early than non-coffee drinkers…” Another study showed that adding more coffee to your day is linked to lowering your chances for developing type 2 diabetes later in life. Both studies acknowledged that is important to pay attention to the kind of coffee you drink and avoid excess sugar and flavorings, keeping in mind that the proper serving size for a cup of coffee is eight ounces.

Couples who laugh together have better relationships. A recent study showed that sharing funny moments and bouts of laughter with your partner increases feelings of love in a romantic relationship. The study showed that it is time for laughing to become one of the barometers to measure a good relationship rather than the vague emotion of being happy. “‘Participants who laughed more with their partners during a recorded conversation in the lab tended to also report feeling closer to and more supported by their partners…” But that doesn’t mean that pretending to laugh at your partner’s jokes will accomplish the same thing. “On the flip side, awkward chuckles, stunted grins and fake guffaws all are flags that there may be something amiss.” So in order to maintain a healthy and blissful relationship, make sure you are your partner share laughs together
