Swelling of the joints and pain that can be debilitating, this condition can affect the young and the old. Trying to ways to alleviate your pain is not always easy. However, medical professionals and nutritionists alike are saying the way their patients eat has a huge effect on minimizing the pain. That said, here is what you need to know about this diet:

1. Garlic
The rheumatoid arthritis diet can be very beneficial in controlling the symptoms of this disease. Therefore, everyone needs to know exactly what they can and cannot eat before they consume foods that can exacerbate their pain. For instance, a lot of people know that garlic is good for a lot of medical problems that people experience today and can make a very good every day all natural remedy for RA too. This is because garlic has elements in it that focuses on treating patients with anti-inflammatory properties. Garlic is also good for this type of arthritis since it works to help to strengthen these patients immune system. So, if you love garlic, you can add it to any dish that you enjoy.

2. Broccoli
If you like broccoli, you will also be happy to hear how you can binge on this food too. This is because broccoli has the nutrition in it that helps with decreasing the amount of inflammation in the joints. For instance, when you have a one or two servings of broccoli, you are getting sulforaphane in your body, which is a compound that is good for treating RA by blocking the development of this disease in the cells.

3. Walnuts
After you had a good meal, you may want a snack to tide you over until it is time to eat again. When this is the case, you do not have to eat a snack that will cause your arthritis to flare up again. So, to avoid these issues, you may want to grab a hand or two of walnuts to munch on. Walnuts contain fatty acids, which are the supplements that can help to aid in eliminating pain. Also, if you want to cut out some of the prescription medications that you are taking for the pain, you may want to add more walnuts to your diet in order to minimize the risks of taking harsh medications. This alternative aid can help to deaden the joint pain that you experience whenever you consume it regularly.

4. Berries and grapes
If you like to eat fruit, you may not be able to eat every fruit that you find in your local fruit market. However, you can consider eating the types of fruits that will protect your body. For instance, you may want to buy up all of the berries and grapes that you can eat. Grapes and berries are on the list of RA foods because they are also listed as anti-inflammatory foods.
