Changes in our body that we ignore because we perceive the changes to be insignificant. These changes in our body are caused due to stressful environmental factors like UV rays, smoking, alcohol, pollution, heavy exercise, and mental stress. Due to this, our body produces a large number of free radicals which cause body damages leading to various disorders. This phenomenon is called oxidative stress. High energy particles from our food, called antioxidants, exert health protection and prevent physiological alterations. We need antioxidants as they are the only substances that prevent oxidation and correct antioxidant deficiencies in our body. Antioxidants are of two types, primary antioxidants and secondary antioxidants. The intake of secondary antioxidants like vitamins and minerals can be increased through fruits and vegetables or dietary supplements.

Intake of secondary antioxidants can be supplemented, but they act on secondary free radicals and can rapidly get saturated. As a result, they can only slow down cell damages. The primary antioxidants improve the cell defense right at the first level by decreasing the primary free radicals. Primary free radicals are directly formed from O2 and they are most dangerous. Action of primary free radicals on cell components, nucleic acid and lipid membrane creates a chain reaction which results in destruction of cell membrane. It is very important to control the production of primary free radicals. SOD, the master antioxidant, has the most protective effects. It immediately discards the overproduction of primary free radicals generated during oxidative stress, which helps to avoid cell damages. SOD is the master antioxidant that is produced endogenously.

Technology of today now enables SOD supplementation exogenously. Elevating endogenous levels of SOD is a safe and natural way to prevent oxidative stress at the origin and promote better health.

The world's best SOD is found in Gaditana Original Marine Phytoplankton, SOD supplementation is associated with a lot of health benefits including anti-aging, weight management, cellulite reduction, sleep quality, cognitive performances, UV protection, fertility, immunity, pain relief, physical performances, and energy. The efficiency of superoxide dismutase in the prevention of various disorders has been scientifically documented and clinically proven in all these conditions.
