Kale Isn't “Hipster” – It's Good For You

Posted by Bobby Brown on April 27, 2021 - 11:05am

Kale is one of my favorite go-to foods, which is why it’s been given this bizarre label of ‘hipster’ as of late. I don’t quite understand the phenomenon of labeling inanimate objects and vegetables as hipster, but what I do understand is all of the benefit there is to eating the leaf.

It’s low calorie, low carb, full of antioxidants, vitamins, lutein, potassium and iron. It’s great for healthy eyes, skin, weight loss, low cholesterol, strong bones, and reducing the risk of cancer and heart disease. This is one leafy friend that should be added to your diet if it’s not there already. Hipster or not, you should give it a try!

Simon Keighley Kale is one of the most nutritious foods which we should regularly add to our diet - thanks for sharing the health benefits, Bobby.
